Aspect Ratio:
Refers to the ratio of a canopy's span to it chord.
For example: a canopy with a span of 20 feet and a chord of 10 feet would be said to have an aspect ratio of 2:1
BASE jumping canopies are generally low aspect ratio designs. This would be an aspect ratio below 2.2:1.
